Private Cello Instruction
Andrea Comsky has been teaching cello in Southern California for
over 35 years and is a member of the West Los Angeles branch of
the Music Teacher's Association. Andrea has served as music instructor
at the Buckley School, Stephen S. Wise School, Newhall School District,
Hart School District, Pacific Palisades Early Childhood Education
and is currently the cello teacher at Santa Monica High School and
Paul Revere Middle School in Brentwood. She has also taught cello
in school outreach programs through the American Youth Symphony
and Los Angeles Jewish Symphony. In addition, Andrea has had extensive
experience presenting educational music performances and demonstrations
that tour the school districts...bringing the joy of music to all
areas of the city.
Andrea lives and teaches in the Marina del Rey with her husband,
Jack Cousin, double bassist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. She
teaches cello to all ages and levels of ability.
